Ada's Trail of Rememberance
A pilgrimage across Switzerland, carrying Ada through mountains, rivers, and valleys.
This is a simple travel journal for those who would like to walk with us in spirit.
I begin my pilgrimage in Faido, where Ada and I lived together, and I will walk north through Switzerland to Lake Constance, a place she loved. Along the way, I will leave small offerings of her ashes in places of beauty. This site then is my daily journal as I walk with her from Faido to Lake Constance.
Each day, I will share just one picture and a few words — not as a report, but as an offering of remembrance. Most of my thoughts and feelings will remain in my private journal; what I share here is simply a way for family and friends to stay close.
This is not a performance or a story to follow, but a path of love and farewell. It is my pilgrimage with Ada. You are warmly invited to walk with us in spirit. And you are welcome to leave your own words or memories here.

Support the Pilgrimage 🌿
Your support helps cover the simple costs of this journey. Any surplus will be given, in Ada’s name, to a worthy cause (children’s orphanage in Myanmar). An independent auditor, Stefan Bodenstab (from PHC-Switzerland), will review all accounts to ensure transparency.
The combined costs of Ada’s simple funeral and the pilgrimage are estimated at around CHF 4,000–5,700. Donations will help cover these modest expenses. A trusted auditor will verify all accounts. Any surplus will be donated, in Ada’s name, to a worthy cause (At the moment I am thinking of a children’s orphanage in Myanmar.)

Die Gesamtkosten für Adas einfache Beerdigung und die Pilgerreise werden auf etwa 4.000 bis 5.700 Schweizer Franken geschätzt. Spenden werden dazu beitragen, diese bescheidenen Ausgaben zu decken. Ein vertrauenswürdiger Wirtschaftsprüfer wird alle Konten überprüfen. Etwaige Überschüsse werden in Adas Namen für einen guten Zweck gespendet (derzeit denke ich an ein Kinderheim in Myanmar).

I costi complessivi del funerale semplice di Ada e del pellegrinaggio sono stimati tra i 4.000 e i 5.700 franchi svizzeri. Le donazioni contribuiranno a coprire queste spese modeste. Un revisore di fiducia verificherà tutti i conti. L'eventuale eccedenza sarà devoluta, a nome di Ada, a una causa meritevole (al momento sto considerando un orfanotrofio in Myanmar).
